The specific type of feeding we offer our ducks allows us to get a premium quality flesh and a very distinctive taste on this market from market standards.\u00a0We have focused our duck rearing on the animal well-being and product quality.\u00a0Our ducks are not force fed which gives no loss on total quantity from purchasing to cooking. Therefore, a lot more meat in the end to cook.\u00a0We offer several kinds of cuts (from a fresh duck) and we also developed a range of processed products.<\/h3>\n

Canard du Village, a family owned and operated duck farm specialized in non force fed Muscovy ducks. Raised in our traditional farm from more than 20 years, our ducks are raised on all-vegetable grain feeds enriched with flaxseeds. Our birds are antibiotic free. Thanks to this unique mix we developed, our ducks are recognized for the quality of their flesh, their savory taste and their high concentration in omega 3.<\/h3>\n

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for good health because they are not produced by our body. There are 2 types of omega 3: marine oil and vegetal oil. Omega-3 fatty acids are important for normal\u00a0metabolism<\/a>. Consequently, they have to come from our diet. They have a positive effect on your cardiovascular health. Also,\u00a0Duck fat is an excellent cooking medium with a rich, silky texture and has a very fine, savoury flavour, halfway between butter and olive oil.The addition of flaxseed in our ducks diet provides 3.2 grams of omega 3 per 100 grams of meat.<\/h3>\n
